Something more in the funk territory from this song about someone who literally experiences the blues in every moment and at every turn! A very minimal, insistent drum groove signals the entry of this song which drifts into a gentle guitar and organ passage. The funky-ness increases as the bass establishes its recurring theme and the guitar becomes more "choppy". This intro turns out to be a long and joyous instrumental section as the guitar then joins the bass motif, while the organ alternately plays held, then stabbing chords, and the guitar plays sparse blues licks throughout.
